A bevy of beauties and style stars gathered at the Getty Center in Los Angeles for a grand bash hosted by InStyle. This year’s InStyle Awards celebrated the upcoming issue of the magazine, which features the best dressed stars in Hollywood today. Here are some of the most memorable looks from the prestigious event:
1. Kate Hudson
Kate Hudson made a stunning entrance in a spectacular Giles floral gown that hugged her figure perfectly. She looked effortlessly elegant and managed to brighten up the entire venue with her megawatt smile. Her golden locks were swept up in a chic updo, and she finished off her look with heels from Brian Atwood and a clutch from Jimmy Choo.
The 36-year-old Hollywood superstar wore a sleeveless gown from the label’s spring 2016 collection, which features floral prints, floral appliqués, a floor-length hem, and a sweeping train.
Kate carried the “Mini Charm” clutch from Jimmy Choo in a pretty ballet pink hue. It features plush velvet, dusty pink patent leather sides, dark silver-tone satin lining, interior side gussets, pale gold-tone metal border, and a tonal studded logo kiss clasp closure.
2. Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow was a vision of elegance and effortless grace in a black velvet gown from Schiaparelli’s fall 2015 couture collection. Her hair was styled in a high ponytail secured by a black ribbon to show off her flawless face and the details of her stunning couture gown.
The gown features cap sleeves, a deep V-shaped neckline that showed off her décolletage, an open back, a floor-length hem, and subtle crystal detailing. Heels from Casadei and jewels from David Webb rounded off her classy look.
3. Emmy Rossum
Emmy Rossum was the epitome of autumn in her brown leather dress from Tod’s, which she styled with a low ponytail, burgundy lips, and Christian Louboutin pumps.
Her dress comes in a rich chocolate brown color and falls just above the knees. It features a fitted bodice, adjustable long sleeves, concealed zip fastening, a wide band at the waist, a pleated skirt, and laser-cut perforations.

4. Alexandra Daddario
Alexandra Daddario can render anyone speechless with her piercing blue eyes, which looked even bluer due to her gorgeous patterned gown from Diane von Furstenberg. It features a round neckline, short sleeves, a floor-length hemline, and multiple patterns in varying shades of blue. Alexandra punctuated her look with an elegant timepiece and the perfect fuchsia pout.
5. Michelle Williams
The all-black ensemble from Michelle Williams was a breath of fresh air in a sea of sophisticated dresses at the 2015 InStyle Awards. She brought sexy edge with her Louis Vuitton number, which was embellished with studs, lace, zippers, and black leather. The 18-year-old stunner wore a sleeveless dress from Fausto Puglisi, which features a round neck, a flared skirt, tiered ruffles, and a chain-link print.
7. Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger oozed class and sass in a gold cut-out dress from Preen’s spring 2016 collection. She styled it with minimal makeup, a clutch from Anya Hindmarch, jewels from Anita Ko, and a pair of strappy sandals.
Her dress from Preen by Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi features a round neck, long sleeves, cutout detailing, a flirty side slit, gold floral embellishments, a striped underlay, and a sheer hem.
She carried a white box clutch from Anya Hindmarch, which features goatskin leather, a push-lock closure, suede-lined interior, and a yes/no lettering detail.
